Completely realistic adult manikin allowing practice of abdominal thrust, chest thrust, and back blow procedures for clearing a blocked airway. Manikins are made with specially selected durable vinyl to create tactile realism. When correct clearing procedures are performed, the manikin will expel the object causing the obstruction. The obstruction object is placed in the manikin’s oral cavity. When back blows, or abdominal or chest thrusts are administered, the increased air pressure in the chest will impel the object from the mouth. Each manikin has a rib cage, xiphoid process, and jugular notch to provide anatomical reference points. Manikins include obstructions, shirt, and tough nylon stadium bag fitted with web straps.
